So how long before package managers are obsolete?

I've been using snaps for a while now and they are the best, Truly the way things should have been from the beginning, If something breaks it doesn't take the whole system down with it, Also doesn't shit up the system with dependencies.

Snaps require apparmour enabled kernel, which is kind of a hindrence

More ways for software lock down.

Fedora doesn't come with apparmor itself. Apt is objectively a garbage package manager

Exactly. Famous last words. Also, how long until some exploit is found that rapes your system? I suppose this is a godsend for anyone unfortunate enough to be stuck with apt as a package manager, but I'm gonna wait a very long time before I jump on this gimmick.
