I'm trying to install a new OS on my server but for some reason it won't boot from the USB drive even though I've verified that it boots from literally every other computer I own
It's a HP DL380 G5

I bet burning a DVD would just werk, though I hate wasting a DVD for a one time install

Update the BIOS if you can.
Reset BIOS to defaults
The DL380 G5 boots just fine off of the front USB ports.
