I am really distressed by this video. Dude reviews multiple USB cables and finds they lose between 10% to 33% of the power they transmit to resistance.

Where in the video did he even charge a USB device? Never. He simply calculates and compares wiring losses at 5V 2A.
Who is to say that those cables make a 10-30% decrease is the device's actual charging speed?
Good work comparing power losses, but fails horribly at demonstrating real-world implications.

look who doesn't understand the simple physics behind charging a device

breaking news
china shit is shit
next water is wet and sun is hot

This is really bad when you consider that many peripherals need 2 USB connections just to get the 1A they're supposed to from generic PCs.

Comparing the electricity going in one end, and coming out the other end doesn't compare real world scenarios?
5V at 2A is pretty standard for a USB device on charge, if a cable is losing up to 33% of that power once it gets to the device, that's bad.
Really bad.
That's why a lot of >2A phone chargers are 5.25V now, to account for some voltage drop in the cable.

5.3V actually; just checked the print on mine.

Sorry but you sir, are dumb as FUCK.
Leave.
