Inferiority compared to Intel when it comes to instructions, power consumption, and overall quality. Do you know why they made tri-cores a thing? Because the fourth core is fucking defective.
However, they've gotten better. Recently they released a reference graphics card that was only supposed to have 4GB but could be flashed to function as 8GB. That's neat. Zen is also going to be an exciting thing.
I own stock in AMD, and was delighted to see in the past month the value spike not once but twice already. What a time to be alive, hopefully it doesn't crash before I get a chance to sell.
