What does /g/ think of Docker?

It's a meme that will soon be replaced by serverless architectures.

BASED docker, BSD cucks are jealous of it

>You just set up a Kubernetes cluster.
I tried that once, but failed. I even tried their install scripts that use vagrant and other shit. It failed too. Shipyard has 99% less features but at least I was able to install it.
I think it's pretty nice, especially when combined with shit like Kubernetes.

I just use docker-compose desu. I just want my stuff nicely organized into containers, not compete with google on high availability.

It's okay, but for real containers LXC/LXD and *BSD Jails are far superior.

Is there anything similar to dockerfiles for LXC?
>>56180914
Nobody wants to use it because it's a dumb shit.
It has some good uses but it's being pushed for every fucking thing where it usually doesn't fit.

GOOD GOYM TOOL
It's useful for embedded and low-powered systems like my Synology NAS. But I rather stick to virtual machines for simplicity sake

>they realize containerization is a thing
>lxc has been around for years
It's a copy of an old idea. Hell, virtualization was originally done on mainframes.
