Need some fast advice.
I live in Japan and I've worked all day.
Come home late to find new laptop from America has arrived.
Except the fucking plug has a ground prong and none of my apartments outlets have a grounding hole.
It's late here, so shops are closed. The local 7/11 has this weird flexible adaptor thing.
So is pic related, with the grounding prong exposed, safe?
More related pics.
This would only be temporary until I can get a proper adapter.

ya it's all good

Yes, you can touch it and not cause an issue.
It's just a safety feature not in Japan
yea you'll probably be fine, it's just a ground

If you want to be cheap and lazy you can just break off the ground pin. The cable probably plugs into a power brick so you can just replace the cable in the future if you ever need it.

nah he doesn't need to do that, he can just get an adapter tomorrow, for now what he's doing is fine
Works a treat, thanks all.
