Is wireless charging really all that worth it?
I'm thinking about getting a galaxy s7 just because it can support wireless charging.
I would really like to have an aluminum phone, but..
getting a phone just for the wireless charging would be retarded.

Not really the only reason I was going to get one, but I just really want the wireless charging cuz its 2k16
Its fucking great, but the connectors get fucked up real quick on my phone after some months of docking.

I'll have to take in that factor.

Holy shit, its CURRENT YEAR?!
I had no idea, brb gonna go buy a wireless Dragon dildo.
I use a 15mw fast wireless charger on my S7E daily, it's so nice being able to just toss it onto a slab and let it charge. I integrated mine into my old desk, but my new one is too thick (kek).

Is that SoFloAntonio?
I used to use one on my nightstand for lazily plopping my phone onto before bed. But I don't know if it's just samshit, but when it's done it cuts the power when it's done charging, and doesn't start back up again. So it's not 100% in the morning. Also, your phone gets super hot.
Man, it's not really "wireless" though is it?
You lay it on something instead of plugging something into a jack. It's the same but worse.
>dumb gimmick that heats your phone up more
>can't even easily use it while it's charging now
Meme charging pad.
Wireless should mean I can charge it within x vicinity not "you lay it flat on this thing and it totally charges it wireless even though everything has to be physically touching in some way"

Most cringe thing about this is actually liking Screeching Weasel
I have wireless charging in my phone and I legitimately forgot I did until I saw this post. I lost the wireless charging pad a while back and haven't even thought about buying another

What?
>wireless charging
Basedwatm8
I'm imagining wireless like internet. But that would blow my mind.

I don't know why is ''wireless'' charging even considered a valuable feature for a smartphone. You literally can't move your phone for more than an inch or two, while it's charging. The idea might be good, but the execution is not so great and I consider wireless charging in it's current state a gimmick.

Technically, if there is no wire between the dock and the phone, and the dock itself is directly plugged into a wall socket without a wire - then it's "wireless".

It could save a lot of clutter on my charging station if all my devices had wireless charging.
But just the phone still leaves a shitload of wires that all get tangled and triggering my autism.
