The GTX 1060 6GB is already 10% faster than the RX 480. You cannot chop off 10% of the GPU, keep the clocks the same, and expect the same performance. It will probably be the same performance as the RX480, since they are pricing it at $200.

The equivalent value of a 970 in terms of $/perf compared to the1060 would be about $182, considering that would be comparing a USED 970 with a NEW 1060, you shouldn't pay more than $150 OR you should just buy the $200 1060 because you will not find better relative performance for a new card

Power consumption, electricity here is expensive as fuck. I'd like to stay on amd, but they're particularly bad on keeping low clocks for dual monitors and videos, I know my 280x can't, and the situation hasn't changed.
All things considered, with the time this is playing streams on my second monitor, we're talking at an extra 50-60€/year on electricity alone by keeping an amd card over nvidia.

Of course, not an issue if you don't do regularly both of these.
