configuring Linux is so simple for actual programmers that there is no excuse not to be using it. people who come on this board and call themselves programmers but don't use Linux are just script kiddies who don't actually make money. Windows is for office work. using spread sheets isn't programming, but I'm sure it's fun to pretend. no actual paid programmers use Windows.

Even the developers of vs and windows it's self use Linux to program. Windows is made for consumers, not developers, that's why even MS devs themselves dont use it.
Visual studio is coded in vim on Linux.
