Because Indians are just everywhere. There's like 2 billion of them.

India has invested heavily in tech schools for the past 15 years or so. India has a population of 1.2 Billion.
I've had to deal with a lot of them at my previous job, we outsourced a lot of our "boilerplate" code to them (UML class diagrams to implement, mostly) and we would fill in the technical stuff (in theory, we ended up rewriting a good 60% of what came back anyway). Now I heard that they started outsourcing to Vietnam instead. They still have to correct a few things but overall their work is much better.
