checked multiple speedtest websites multiple times all give me atleast 7mb/s but i dont get how it can drop down to 100kb/s ?

it can if your isp is throttling you and doesnt let you download at full speed.

does it start at 7mb/s at the beginning of the download and then gradually drop?

just call your isp and ask them whats wrong it shouldnt be that difficult to troubleshoot this problem
