Yesterday reinstalled win 7 however i need a file after the format and install process.
Is there a way to actually recover it somehow or i am fucked?
These recuva,etc. kind of programs seem to be lame.

What makes you think they're lame. Could you make something better?

If you know how filesystems work at all then maybe you could be qualified to call things lame, but I am guessing you know very little.
