tech related dreams
>listening to documentary as I was falling asleep
>my family and I are now in a theater
>watching a different documentary about Moses
>I get bore and put my headphones on
>usb-c because it's an HTC 10
>fall asleep in the dream
Wake up in the dream to find my documentary on Neanderthals has ended, but I realize the headphone Jack came out
>in a delirium I plug the usb-c cable back in
>the documentary that my family, and subsequently the whole theateris watching is now about Neanderthals
>oh shit what happened
>look down, the cable I plugged in leads under my seat to one of those tech outlets
>just let the documentary play out because people are just mostly confused
>half the theatre starts leaving disgruntled
>my brothers find out it was my fault
>then my mother finds out and can't stand knowing that I was responsible, or that she knows and that can't gossip about it
>half the people left now know
>as we're leaving in the parking lot Stallman walks up to me after retrieving a packet to give to me
>he's visibly upset
>hands me a bright yellow pocket sized Bible looking hand out
>says read this in an upset voice and storms off
>look down, it reads as follows "HDMI is not a toy"
I opened it and it had schematics for hdmi standards like vcc, data, and ground putouts. I woke up at that point because my brother called for a ride.
>look down, it reads as follows "HDMI is not a toy"
Half the time I try to read something in a dream it is either blurry or makes little sense as it slowly reveals itself
I usually wake up shortly after
I've heard this is a common feature of dreaming - symbols like letters and numbers, or trying to look at the hands of a clock to tell the time doesn't work. I imagine it's because it's a lot of detail for your brain to render

It was in white bold title text.

A lot of the time when I read things in my dreams they take up my whole fov while reading them. Like I've paned in to read it line by line.

Yeah, same thing to me

Sometimes it works for me, sometimes it doesn't. Try looking at a clock the next time you're dreaming if you have a bit of control. I might see letters instead of numbers on the clock some of the time
