Hey /g/, I was wondering:
How would you go about finding or making a rough estimate of the location of a server that's behind cloudflare?
All the tactics that I know to resolve the actual IP don't work. But I don't even want the actual IP, I just want to get a rough estimate of the site's location.
Timing get requests from different servers in different places doesn't work since it only gets a cached version of the site.
Any thoughts?

I assume this is a technical challenge that someone would enjoy

You can't get the original IP of a cloudflare site unless a non-cloudflare version is available.
That's the whole point of cloudflare, it protects your website from attacks by routing everything through it, if it revealed the server's real IP it would be pointless because you could just attack the IP directly and completely bypass the protection.
