Hey /g/ desperate IT guy here
Im experiencing serious issues with wifi in my company. It seems something is jamming the signal because internet can be accessed via LAN.
Can u guys help me determine what could it be?

Ask the other pajeet that works there.

If the signal is being jammed, then it should be happening at a specific point because a jammer is only so effective. If you can connect using an ethernet cable and the wifi doesn't work at all, then that means your wifi is bad. Try replacing the router or changing the position of the antennae.
Wifi not working doesn't equal a jammed signal, it's probably just your router acting up.
Also jamming is illegal and I highly doubt someone is jamming your wifi just to fuck with your phones/laptops since most of your computers should be connected via ethernet anyways.

ask around the office to see if anyone brought a government grade jamming device
Yeah, put a note up on the lunch room wall asking if anyone has recently bought a stingray

A microwave oven that is slightly damaged is a great jammer. It's really not that special...
Use one of those WiFi heatmap apps to find the black spots and look around there to find things that could cause interference

>replace your router if you're having wifi issues at work
>adjust the antennae
unless he works in someones backyard, his work will have access points. the router has nothing to do with wifi.
OP log into the access point (or controller if you have one) and see what it says. it will tell you what the issue is.

Yea, ask if someone stuck their dick in the microwave.
