Any good 2TB HDD laptop drives that'll fit in a PS4? All I can find is Seagate.

I don't think V knows what HDDs will last any longer than 5 minutes.
Why does it matter? Just download the stuff again. You don't need 100 games you'll never play right away.

Because my download speeds are utter garbage.
For games you'll be fine with Seagate

It won't die too fast? I've heard terrible things about them failing.

Mine died after 3 years. Some people have had them die in a week.

HDD failing is a meme. I have a 12 year old HDD which still works (although it's speed is terrible) and I only use it once per year (it's on my ancient PC at my grandma's, which nobody uses). People say it HDDs die if not connected to a power source at least once every 4 months but this thing has survived 9 months being unplugged. Also my 8 year old WD green still hasn't died or shown any errors.

IDE is where it's at, cheap reliable and built like a tank.

Well no shit sherlock.
And no, Seagate drives being bad isn't a meme. Had a friend who worked at a Data Center and specifically mentioned them being shit.
