I am looking for router with 1Gbit LAN+WAN and ac wifi with a price of around 100€. ATM my choice would be Asus RT-AC56U or Asus RT-AC1200G+.

Are there better choices available?

I own a RT-AC56R. It's pretty much the same thing as the "U" and its really nice. Just buy the 56. You wont be disappointed.
