My computer doesn't make a beep when it starts up. IIRC it depends on your motherboard and if it isnt 300 years old then it wont make a beep. If you can hear all that, then the build is probably working.

its an H170M-plus

I havent heard a beep on startup since 2004

yeah I think most modern motherboards don't beep anymore, beeps would actually mean there is something wrong

Beep usually means something is connected to a USB port. For each beep 1 port is detected as being used. Modern motherboards don't beep as loud as older ones, but you can hear a soft click.
This is the shittiest thread I've seen all week. Get a fucking monitor OP, unless you're blind or something.

Thinkpad with ChromeOS is the only option OP

As a technician I usually just tape the speaker to the inside of the customers case, most people get nervous when they hear error code beeps. Less headache for me if its silent. And its rare for the error code speaker to alert you for anything except for RAM errors. Pretty useless. Just plug it into a tv or something.

My case came with a motherboard speaker. Tells me when graphics are initialized. My motherboard isn't old either, got it last year, z97.
