What is a good backup configuration for a video editing PC ?
I am thinking of having a SSD for the system drive.
A SSD for a 'scratch disk', to keep the files and projects I am editing at the moment.
And some kind of RAID with 2 drives to backup stuff and raw videos.
Some guy online said that the system in the picture is better than any RAID.
What do you guys think?
RAID is not a backup.
If the file does not exist in three copies, it does not exist. One offsite backup, one onsite backup, and your working copy. Nothing else is necessary.

Does that mean an external drive?
How to do the off site backup? (living alone in a different country than my home country. No places/houses to leave the drive)
Tony here has an interesting. Something called RFS.
Also he 'mirrors' his main SSD to a regular drive.
Is this 'mirroring' a RAID configuration?
