Because they're utterly fucking pants on head retarded. The angle reduces fine wrist movement precision while still forcing strain on your wrist and hand only the side rather than bottom.

If I want something comfy I use a thumb trackball and for more precision a regular mouse. A thumbball works for 99% of everything since your hand and arm don't move it's easier to stay in a resting position.

I hold my hand sideways like that anyways and can reach all of my mouse buttons comfortably. Why would I waste money on a butt plug mouse when I can buy more RAM or Steam games?

I use a trackball mouse but I have a vertical mouse as a backup.

I will NEVER use a regular mouse again if I can help it. Anyone who uses a computer for more than 6 hours a day shouldn't, either.

I honestly don't even move my wrist. I just rest my arm and wrist and only move the mouse with my fingers. No idea why people leave the tracking speed at default value. I think it's fucking annoying.
