You don't even need to hack most cameras.
Half of them have a web interface, you just fuckin google it and sort by times, then try one of the 5 default passwords. 95% of the time you are in.
It was a very popular thing on /b/ a couple of years ago.
Then it went to IRC and became more sophisticated - a scanner was written, that scans IP ranges and tries default passwords for them. I still have somewhere on my hard drives.
