There may be a lot of pretty areas to explore, but they're all largely empty. There isn't really anything to do past just exploring.

No Man's Sky is a boring game because it is severely lacking in content that isn't walking around on planets and looking at things. Which is neat in itself, don't get me wrong, I like exploring shit in games too. But when that is literally the only thing a game has got going for it...

My Windows 10 install self destructed on a dualbooted laptop.

I only installed the OS and logged in just to check out W10. Then I went back to my normal OS and then a week later went back to W10 and got that "something happened" screen that required another install to fix.

Fuck that noise, haven't touched W10 since. Intentionally bought an 8.1 CD and disabled auto updating. If I had chosen to switch to W10 as my main OS I would have lost all my documents for school. Glad I didn't.

Yes the ps3 has linux support but I'm talking about the ps4. I know that there had been advancements in the hacking community but there isn't really a point in spending so much effort when you can simply build a $500 computer and use that. The performance is probably going to be same, if not better, too.
