You can make a killing off buying used Macbooks on eBay that are "overheating" or experiencing other graphical anomalies. 9/10 times the owner was not at all tech savvy and you just take the case apart and go to town with a can of compressed air. My most recent conquest was a current gen (2015) fully spec'd out Macbook Pro for $550 that was overheating and eventually failing to power on. Recovered a metric fuckton of human finger debris from keyboard and around power button. Turned on. Opened her up and emptied a sand dune worth of dandruff and dust. Good as new. Will resell and fetch around $1800.
