This is going to sound stupid...
I have a throwaway email and use Chrome for porn and 4chan. I use Firefox for school and work. I want to use Chrome as my main browser now with the multiple user thing.
Will auto-complete ever show anything on the other account? Will history or downloads? I just don't want to be working on a project ir giving a presentation and my classmates see my degeneracy...
>Will auto-complete ever show anything on the other account?
No.
Google will most likely know that the 2 accounts belong to the same user though, but since your main concern here is not privacy from google you are fine.

Oh snap

Auto complete on url bar is going to show other account's search history.
I just tried that on my Chrome and my two accounts.

Delete your chrome in your program files, and find anything chrome related in your AppData folder (hidden in C:\users\*you*\appdata\) you can type %appdata% in the windows search bar to find it. That should knock out any thing chrome related on your PC

Since your question has already been answered, can you tell me why you want to use Chrome over FF?
Genuinely curious.
>>56008852
Because I wanted to keep things separate and FF did the job for simple tasks.
>too slow to post
you could just test it but you never know chrome devs could change it in a future update
>>56008825
how is that possible
you know what op, incognito wont show your degeneracy
>>56008865
That doesn't answer my question. What is chrome offering that FF isn't?
Not trying to be dense. Just trying to learn.
>>56008886
Chrome is faster. Crashes less.
>>56008896
I see. Thanks. I think some of the privacy settings in FF outweigh those benefits, but it's good to know what the competition offers.
>>56008886
if you are a ff dev please don't remove the search bar/box
the old behavior where the awesome/url bar did NOT do searches is better
>>56008914
Not a dev, but my FF still offers it. I'm not sure why, though.
Is annon on mommie's laptop again?

>how is that possible

Chrome saves browsing data locally and to the connected account.

After 8 years of Firefox, I recently switched to Chrome, it's just faster
