So the keyboard doesn't scuff-up your desk. Also a very large mousepad is great for FPS gaming, since people typically use low sensitivity in those games.

I use this.

Im plan to get one because half my keyboard is on top of the mousepad already, even though its a normal sized pad. Those little drawers that come on desks for a keyboard and mouse arent big enough anymore.
