>I log off from all my Google accounts that supposedly caches IP addresses
>I disable what I think to be all location services on my desktop
>I clear everything in my browser - cookies, history, cache, and temp files
>I change my desktop's time to fucking local time of the location I'm trying to mimic through the VPN.
>And then I disconnect from my actual network and jump over to the VPN servers location
After all this, the fucking iPlayer still fucking knows I'm not in the UK? Can someone explain how this fucking is? I really don't fucking get it.
I guess the only thing I'm thinking about is BBC knows that my IP is attached to the VPN, and just fucking blocks it.
Uhhhh... Why are you trying to use official streams in the first place? Those are pure garbage laced with all kinds of trackers. Any kind of anonymity software or attempts could fuck the player to the point of not working for various reasons.
Just look for an alternative source of the stream on a streaming site...
Oh and fuck the Olympics. Enjoy your ads and pandering.
Probably the part where the BBC monitors VPN services and blocks the VPN servers.
