>he has a case that mounts the motherboard vertically
It's like you WANT a bent GPU or broken PCI-e slot.
>>55974337
youre fucking retarded m8
Orientation is relative to reference.
It's not a problem if you don't install the motherboard like a spastic chimp

>>55974337
Another case rotates the orientation of the mobo like the FT02?
>>55974337
I've never had an issue with a bent GPU or PCI-e slot, or any other card that goes in my motherboard
For bonus points, I have a heatsink with two 120mm fans that hangs sideways off the motherboard too
I also do all my computer work on a carpet floor
My motherboard may be mounted vertically, but the GPU is too

u w0t m8
>>55974337
I'm not liking these new meme cases you keep posting on here all the time
>>55974337
Desktop cases have been doing that for decades without breaking anything.
>>55974699
Both the motherboard and GPU are vertical.
>>55974430
Lmao "you're" a dumbass

Do those pci-e extensions cause any sort of performance loss
>he doesn't have a case that allows any orientation
>>55974337
Is gpu sag or housefires a bigger meme
>>55976134
what a degenerate case
>>55975089
They theoretically can only hurt your performance, but it's no problem over here in the real world
>mounted my motherboard without the rubber whatitcalleds behind the screws
>Now the motherboard slightly moves when pushed
>everything works though
Was my first build and I learned as I went and only found the rubber pads after I was finished with the rest of the PC.
Is this a reason to be worried?
>>55976329
Rubber pads? what?
>>55976329
Unless you somehow stripped the threads on the screws, no
>>55976340
>>55976339
Similar to this shit. I only used the standoffs and the rubber thumgamajigs remained unused.
>>55976358
The rubber round things on the left in this picture
>>55976369
Those aren't for case fan rattles?
>>55976381
Can't be, they're an odd number.
>>55976329
Did you use the wrong screws?
PC cases come with a mix of metric and US screws because fuck standards.

Maybe you're missing a single one? Says here that you should have 12 spacers/washers, which would fit with the case fans, there are too many for the mobo standoffs, if they would even fit
>>55976427
>>55976440
Yeah I'm retarded, I've been thinking for a few weeks now that I simply missed some parts. That must be for the fans then.
Cheers. I think it might be loose because im missing 2 standoffs, since i lost them like a retard when i was assembling the thing.
>>55976494
Well, you could try making sure that the standoffs you do have are in the heaviest areas, but I wouldn't worry, motherboards are nice and durable, 7/9 hanging points should work well enough even if you have lots of heavy things hanging off
