IMPORTANT, FOR LG G4 OWNERS.
So, in a previous thread many LG G4 users were complaining about display burn-in, including me. I hypothesized of a counter-burn-in and IT WORKS, at least for me.
Displaying a full black image for a long time (i went for 40 minutes) actually makes the magic. I had an annoying burn-in caused by the top bar and now it's completely gone. Colors don't seem to be affected negatively from this trick.
Well, enjoy.

I've never had this problem on my LG G4.
Perfect phone except that I have the SEA version and can't install cyanogenmod. Oh well, at least I can keep it going for a pretty long time if the battery dies. Maybe LG will stop being gay and allow us to unlock the bootloader or just keep giving updates.

So I let the phone charged with the screen never going off?
>>55968720
Could someone explain the logic behind this?

There is none
Why have your phone on a solid black screen for 40 minutes on full brightness? Just fucking lock and leave it, the burn in is temporary.
>>55970016
Yes but it appears in like 3 minutes and it's annoying
>>55969920
No anon dont do it
It'll fucking heat it up to ridiculous temps, I've left it on my table and i only realised when i rested my arm and the cunt burnt me. Don't do it, just leave the screen on low brighntess and use it normally, it'll go.

The low brightness doesn't do shit
I left it open for longer than 40 mins and it stayed withing reasonable Temps
I had it sit on a fan though

You get used to it. Just means you're on the same page constantly, only icons which are always there like wifi and signal burn in for me, maybe some unread notifications
If you wanna prevent it then turn the brightness down or don't stay on the same page too long

>on a fan
Well there you go. Smart move imo, but thr brightness lowered seems to help mine, but for real this phones when left on and in the same task fucking heat up like mad
G4 user here, not noticed any burn-in
