It went on a decent flash sale a while ago for £50, which I got down to £35 with good boy points. I appreciate that it's a big step in price from the usual /csg/ meme quads but it's a big jump in quality too.

However, the camera supplied with it is utter wank because it randomly fails to save recordings and is pointed down at about a 30 degree angle making it useless for trying to fly FPV. You'd be better off getting the camera-less version and attaching a lightweight keychain camera to it.

It's tiny! It almost feels like something you'd put on a keychain. The package also includes a small wrist strap thing, and an adorable little 3cm mUSB cable.
The face buttons and d-pad feel really nice, about on the level of a DS Lite (and similar in size.) The shoulder buttons and start/select are clicky buttons, but I don't mind that.
It took a while to charge completely, but that might just be a first-use thing. I've used it for several hours now with no problems, and it seems like it should last quite a long time based on my experiences with bluetooth keyboards.
It has 6 different connection modes, which are a bit confusing. You turn the controller on by holding start for 2 seconds, and the modes are selected by holding down various buttons while turning it on. The "default" mode (no extra buttons held down) works with Android and (apparently) Windows. I've only tested it on Android and OS X so far.
It's very easy to use with Android - no configuration necessary with Retroarch and probably many other apps. It pairs and reconnects quickly, too. My only issue with its Android compatibility is that my phone seems to think it's a keyboard, and disables the onscreen keyboard whenever the controller is connected. Fortunately, I can just quickly turn the controller off (and back on) when I need to type.
On OS X, it behaves somewhat oddly. As expected, it pretends to be a bluetooth keyboard, but instead of mapping to the arrow keys or something sane like that, the buttons map to the letters A-L. It's not a big problem, but it required a lot more configuration for each emulator/game I wanted to use it with.
Also, I had to unpair it from my phone to get it to pair properly with my mac, even though it uses a different mode. Overall, I think this controller has the best user experience if you use it exclusively with a phone.

It's pretty damn good. It's smaller than I thought but it's still very comfy.

The buttons are VERY clicky, which I enjoy, and the analog sticks have few to no deadzone. (Made this webm that doesn't mean much but hey: http://a.pomf.cat/klgfod.webm) The D-Pad is very similar to the old NES/SNES ones.

It's possible to have Bluetooth XInput on your Windows despite what every retard claims (Install SCPToolkit, use PS3 mode and connect it as a PS3 controller is one way of doing it). Obviously DirectInput is also an option using any other mode, or even make it work as a keyboard without the need for Joy2Key/AntiMicro/whatevs.

And on iOS it's possible to have it as an MFi controller using Controllers For All or iCade mode by default. Android is just plug n' play with Bluetooth essentially, works great. (Also has that Emutouch stuff where you can assign the buttons to sections of your screen for games with no controller support)

I do have a Macbook but I haven't tried it on OSX since I don't really play games there but I assume it's good.

The packaging is pretty slick, I recommend looking up an unboxing on YouTube.

Anybody switched from a nexus to a xiaomi? I have a nexus 4 and today the softkeys stopped registering touches and I can only use it with LMT launcher now. My original idea was to hold on for the new nexus.

It has aluminium body. Pretty high class feel and very slim even for the 4000mah battery. I got the golden color. Sadly i put it in a case and now its very bulky.

The battery is phenomenal. I can easily go for 7-8-9 SOT with everything on. I stopped closing gps, data, switching to 2g, and lowering brightness for the battery to last.
