be wary of anyone offering to sell/trade you their self-built pc, especially if it seems like a very good deal. He could have done all sorts of dumb shit installing it (bent cpu pins, broken connectors, shitty thermal paste, etc) and you won't know til you've agreed to it and a few weeks later something stops working.
That is a pretty good trade (200 dollars to upgrade from a "gaming laptop" to an actual PC is a good deal) but just make sure you properly inspect all the wiring and components before finalizing the deal. And ask why he's swapping - is it just that he doesn't have room for a pc any more? what?
Just saying OP if you do agree to this dont be surprised if some shitty build quality comes out of the woodwork down the line.
