ultra wide monitors are shit. Most games you'll end up with ugly black bars on the side since they don't support ultra wide.
Just get a 27" monitor instead.

Those types are pretty expensive, and most of the things I'll be doing will benefit from ultra wide, and I also read that ultra wide is perfectly fine for most games, and fine for what games I plan on playing.
