In the throws of shutting down my Windows 10 computer, it seems as though my SSD has failed. It's a Corsair that's about three years old. A problem I am having is accessing my larger HDDs; I get this message when I attempt to access them, and moreover, I cannot see the drives in MiniXP at all.
I don't know very much about Linux at all; is there any way I can gain read and write access to the drives without harming the data that they contain?

You'll need to run windows and let it check the disk, I think, if that's not the primary drive that you're trying to access. If it is just booting into Windows and shutting down might fix it.
