Is it not possible for Mozilla to make an exception to the window manager and tell it not to draw a window title bar in Linux (I know client-side decorations are easier in Windows)? Chrome gets it right on Linux but still my Firefox on XFCE has that shitty window title bar above the tabs taking up precious screen estate.

yes
It's possible, since chromium can do it, firefox can do it too, but do you really want it to happen?
Changelog:
>firefox 49 comes with a pretty switch for window title bar in linux, rawr, homosexual rainbows <3

CHROME MAKES IT OPTIONAL, COCKSWALLER.

indeed, i hate the default
it's one of the few things chrome does right

yeah, I know, and I said "switch" I was just joking about sjwzilla
Why do you even have the window decoration?
You know what site you are visiting, you can access all the functionality from hotkeys, why not remove it?
At least on maximized windows
There are 30 addons that do that.
