How do you feel about that piece of deprecated shit still being the most valuable and profitable skill/programming language while all the actually hard, object oriented programming can be done by a Pajeet for 5$/hour?
But none of that is true

Bretty god I feel

Writing your phone program in one class and calling it in your main() is not oop, faggot
Why won't pajeet use visual basic?
at my previous work they still had a major application written in VB
we even ran into some sort of memory hard limit because of too many classes or something
>>55930021
For real? I learned this thing 10 years ago. I though no one used that anymore.
>>55930383
how do you write your scripts for Outlook or any complex Excel macros?

It's a pity, VBA could acutally be a half-decent langauge..
The FileSystemObject is pretty nice, the easy acess to Windows APIs, the possibility to use all products of the ms office family from your code..
BUT there's just so much shit in the langauge.
-Arrays and Collections are weak and complicated (dynamic arrays are a pain in the ass; Array indexes start at 0, but Collection indexes start at 1)
-the "classes" are a fucking joke (constructors can't even take init variables!)
-half of the time you either use globals or have a fucking mess with passing variables arround
-you have lazy evaluation on Boolean expressions (every condition gets evaluated, so you need nested IFs)
-the error handling is done by fucking GOTOs
-you can't overload methods
..shall I continue?
