I was told OSX is the easiest to use but when I used it for the first time I had trouble to use things. After the initial annoyance it was smokth sailing but the itunes-only and weird download authority weirded me out.

Ubuntu is technically easier to use than OSX but it's not marketed towards normies.

The part I like is that you can have normie-esque distros and distros that people already use for day-to-day stuff and work.
