So i installed Elementary Os in virtual box and I ran into some trouble with resizing the virtual screen. Has anyone else had this issue with virtual box?

Yes. Boot the virtual OS in full screen mode
>>55909367
Had the same issue in vmware.

And this is what fixed it in vmware as well. I don't even have to boot the vm in fullscreen, just as long as I'm in fullscreen before I login, it will detect the right res.

I really hate eOS.

I can't remember if eOS supports it, but have you tried inserting the virtualbox guest additions cd? Installing the additions fixes problems like yours most of the time.

I have the additions in a cd drive inside the virtual machine but i cant make it do anything

run it by opening the Elementary OS file viewer and clicking on the disk

Why?
>>55910292
It only gave me the option to view the files individually

You need to run the install_linux.sh or what ever it's called.

what are the files called? If I remember correctly you open a terminal and execute one of the .sh files or whatever
