Good for you, did the same. It's a great card so far, also there are some partners who grant more than 3 years warranty, I'd highly recommend getting one of those.
I was so hyped for the 480 and they just wouldn't release good customs and the ones that are soon to be released are too expensive. As my 7870 died I had to act and just got the 1070. Hopefully the 5XX launch will work out better.

AMD really fucked up hard. They're targeting mainstream which would make you think that they had a shit ton of 480s out there but in reality they had the same sort of production problems that Nvidia has been having.

I bought a 390 used and haven't looked back. For a "rehash" of a 2.5 year old card it holds up amazingly at 1080p. I don't plan on upgrading till it cant do high settings @ 60fps. then I'll start looking at what the factions have to offer.
