I've been trying to unlock my bootloader and root my phone for weeks now, it's a Verizon HTC one m7 running on 5.0.2 and I can't seem to get any method to work cause Verizon is the only carrier that does everything in their power to prevent rooting. I need help /g/
Try to get an unlock key via htc or verizon, if that doesn't work buy a new unlocked phone. Rooting is awesome and totally worth it

They literally have a page on their website to help you unlock the bootloader, how could you fuck this up?

Because it's Verizon it won't work. I've already tried that. Can't unlock the bootloader with it
You took the updates that forever locked your bootloader on an older phone....
Your phone is basicsally a circumised penis
Multilated and useless

Pretty much all Verizon phones come unlocked anyways so that can't be the problem

sell your phone and get a nice UMI
> muh rootjoy

That's what I was thinking. From what I understand it's extremely risky to downgrade your firmware so I don't think that's an option. Guess I'm fucked
