can someone please ID what drives are outlined in red?
are these drives always connected to the computer or something...? how does this work exactly?
lol at the idea of designing a trash can computer

iOmega external harddrive apparently.
Is just like when you plug in a usb thumbdrive anon, those little memory things that have been around for like, a decade or something

but are these designed to be always on?
as in if i needed external storage space to be always accessible (say if i chose this drive to store my entire music library + media files), could these last reliably or would failure rate be too high?

Its the very same harddrive that the one inside the computer, just on a case, externally.
What do you think?

i guess i'm just paranoid from consistently hearing doomsday scenarios of people's external drives always failing on them

Stupid people tend to be pretty careless with delicate computer devices, so, go figure.
I have mine pluged in on my pc 24/7, no issues.

cool thanks m8
Top one is a G-Drive. I use them all the time for work. Overrated and overpriced.

>people's external drives always failing on them
luck of the draw. should be fairly safe with WD

Confirmed g-drive - I have one.
