You probably can't and that's why the devs said "just use vo=opengl-hq" multiple times! This kind of weirdnesses is from avisynth and madvr who claimed you can improve your picture quality but it's only the placebo effect. Please don't fell for this and just use reasonable configuration.

I have obvious differences in color gradients and shades between opengl and opengl-hq.
