Need help here since Google doesn't yield shit and only shows results about Android phones
Selling a Laptop soon and I need to make sure that my personal data can't be recovered, and no I'm not gonna do a hard drive wipe because the seller asked to have the OS intacted
What I plan to do is
>Delete everything
>Uninstall
>Install encryption software
>Full encryption
>Factory Reset
Will this work out? Or should I just hope the seller doesn't know how to extract data from hard drive, help me out here geniuses

if the encryption software overwrites unused hard disk space, yes this could work. Try to find a software that overwrite unused space.
But the best would be to wipe the whole thing, or even better, sell with a new hard drive.

Use an official iso and make your own installation media. Microsoft provides them somewhere, or use torrents with valid hashes.
