I have yet to see a kp on my Precision 690, nor did I have any trouble getting my hardware to work. The only kexts I needed to inject were the basic hackintosh ones like FakeSMC. It literally just werks (tm). I even update it without issue. If you're not lucky enough to have a 100% compatible PC, just build a custom PC for OS X or buy a real Mac.
