i have a gtx 760 paired with a 4670 (non k) and had ~120 fps on max settings 1080p on directx/opengl (+10 fps on ubuntu) but 90-110 on vulkan (idk why its 90 on river) but i have huge cpu usage reduction (around 20% compared to 60-70% on opengl) on vulkan so my cpu is around 50-60C. Vulkan seems unstable though.
DX12 performs as well as opengl on linux so im not mad.

whole point of vulkan is to make a cpu-heavy game less heavy, by spreading the load on all cores. Early on i would just expect reduced cpu temps and an even load. Fps optimization would be expected in situations where the first cpu core is a bottleneck (usually single core heavy games on amd CPUs). Just like >>55850924
