>32GB onboard storage capable of at least 100 MB/s reads and writes
>2x UHS-1 microSD slots
>Dual SIM
>Some x86 Intel SoC
>3000 maH hotswappable battery, small secondary battery to keep the phone powered on while swapping kinda like a tiny UPS deal. Secondary battery removable as well, though not as easily. Maybe require a screw or two to remove this, so it can be replaced with relative ease once it goes bad.

I wont go into the minutiae, but I'd like a clamshell phone with flagship-tier hardware and a physical keyboard.

My phone has a habit of activating itself in my pocket from errant power-button presses. Sometimes it even unlocks itself.
Shit drives me insane. That and SWYPE/Google keyboard sucks dick, I'd rather type shit myself.

>>
>>55845491
>Wouldn't it be more feasible to simply plug in your phone while you hotswap batteries
Not if you're on the go. The point would be to have the option to carry a couple extra batteries when you expect to not be able to charge your phone for an extended period of time, and then be able to swap them out at a moment's notice without having to wait for the phone to reboot.
Maybe, to reduce the size of the secondary battery, it could be done in a way that requires the user to put the phone in an S3 state. Session suspended to RAM, swap batteries, phone boots back up near instantly. Then all that would be required of the secondary battery would be to keep RAM alive for, say, 30 seconds or so.
I don't think this would add very much bulk, especially not with a modest sized main battery.
Additionally, the main battery could be a part of the phone's back cover, so you wouldn't have to juggle two batteries and the cover, but rather just pop battery/cover off in one go, and put on your replacement. Maybe held in place by a simple spring-loaded latch, kind of like a lot of laptop batteries.

>This almost sounds like a phone that actually could exist. If the Full Keyboard UMPC phones didn't die off it basically sounds like some kind of Zenfone Keyboard 2018
Oh, I'm sure it could. Almost all of the technology required to accomplish this, with the exception of a solution for the hotswappable battery (which, in theory, is a simple thing to implement), can already be found in existing phones. Just not in one package.

>>55845502
The only problem with x86 in phones is that they have to emulate ARM apps on Lagdroid. Aside from this, x86 phones are great.

Something along these lines except:
>mono speaker because stereo doesn't matter when they're so close, might as well get a better single speaker
>3:2 ~4.5" screen, portrait slider phone design
>BB Android with unlocked bootloader (their Android is pretty bloat-free and BB Hub is really comfy)
>separate front and back camera unless the switching could be done by the phone itself without having to turn the camera yourself
>no trackpoint
I mean, touchscreen + keyboard + keyboard's touchpad + stylus + trackpoint is overkill, how many input devices do you want in a phone? Trackpoint is cool but I don't think it's needed on such a small screen

>Dual heat pipe cooling (see Z5)
Not sure if needed, I don't need a powerful SoC in my phone actually

Don't need it personally, but wouldn't hurt to have:
>M2 SSD
>Dual sim
>5200 maH battery
Have like 2000 now and it's fine for one day usage, 3000 would be more comfy though.

I might watch a video once every few weeks or so, but content consumption takes, at most, 5% of the time I use a phone, so it should be optimised for the other 95%. And that means buttons, decent battery, and size small enough to not be uncomfortable in the pocket.
For watching a short clip, even a 2" screen is enough. I'm not retarded enough to watch full films on a phone when I have a 32" monitor on my desk.

Not often enough to care about my phone screen's size. An ubuntu phone or whatever with a program that emulates Android like wine does with Windows.
Upgradeable hardware.
Insane battery life, and a great screen.
Little LEDs that can be programmed to do whatever.
Flashlight.
Kickstand.
Thermal vision.
Waterproof, and ideally shockproof, because it'd be too thick for a case already with that ideal battery life.
