I don't think it's coming back, guys.

>all the sites people post are fake and have malware ads
i haven't seen any KAT replacements with ads in the first place. "fake" is the definition of what you're talking about - the guy who ran it is in prison; where do you think "real" would come from?

if you're this stupid, then you should stop torrenting.
>>
don't really need it tb͏h
>>
we have still tpb
>>
If you use a non-shit torrent client like qBittorrent that has its own built-in search engine.

Just downloaded qBittorrent and starting to use it. What search engine do you recommend?

he is talking about the qbittorrent search engine

good, only retards use public trackers anyways
>>
>>55844766
That only works on Tor browser, fuckwit. Also, Tor browser still has a couple working torrent sites left. It's worth an install if you still torrent.

there are basically no alternatives

Oh, I read it wrong then. Like I said, just started using it. What are the unofficial search plugins for then?

I am willing to do them, I joined what.cd but thats the only way I can see myself joining a movie/tv shows private tracker.

Piratebay and Rarbg are still good faggot, just use those two.
>>
>>55844909
>What are the unofficial search plugins for then?
I've never really looked into them before because I don't use the search engine built into qbittorrent, I only use private trackers

but from the looks of it you can use them to add other sites for the search engine in qbittorrent to search

don't mean to be rude but you coud literally click the button and find out desu, what's the point in asking here
>>
>>55844942

check

>>55845000

I'll add torrentz.eu and isohunt.to

if you have so much fear just get in private trackers, the biggest needed to take the fall

mainstream and private is an oxymoron, don't blame for takedowns when you're on the tip of the iceberg
>>
>>55845009
Just wanted some experienced opinion on a program I just downloaded. It's all working now so, thanks.
>>
>>55845000
I don't know Rarbg is kinda shitty doesn't have that many seeders, the main page is literally full of porn and badly categorize.
>>55844984
I don't have the motivation for it
>>55845086
>I'll add torrentz.eu and isohunt.to
funny these sites have been up longer than KAT I believe, and I bet my ass that the reason they never got as popular is because of their layout.
>>
>>55845264
>I don't have the motivation for it

Sounds like why you are a failure at life.
>>
>>55845281
pretty offensive but you are kinda right, at least you think that, right?
>>
>>55845297
I mean, if you can't even make PU on What, you probably don't have the motivation to get a lot of things in life. Sad, really. I work 50 hours a week after graduating college and I still made PU.

I never looked into it, what is the price for such a thing.

I normally donate and up my ratio that way but only when I regularly use it for something. If I also have to for in between movies and things then it gets a little hefty per private tracker.

I just got a netflix account. Cheap as hell and now I only have to bother pirating a little bit of stuff. Stranger Things is great! Plus a lot of stuff I would have never thought to pirate.
>>
>>55845529
seedboxes are convenient - give them a shot.

i have access to a few private trackers and any notion of them being hard to get into is just stupid. if the RIAA wanted to worm its way into what.cd it would be trivially easy for them to do. and then from there they could just send C&D requests to every ISP whose IP address they see.

the only way to solve this problem is to obscure your IP address, and a VPN still puts all the down traffic *and* the up traffic on you, so you're limited by the slower of the two (either the VPN or you). much better just to get a seedbox, shield yourself from C&D requests, and enjoy constant fast seeding without your home machine having to run 24/7.

i'm paying whatbox like 30/month for 2Gbps up and 9TiB of traffic. I max it out almost every month (at that point it gets limited to something stupid like 500Kbps until the next cycle) and i'm in absolutely no danger of getting kicked out of any tracker i currently have access to. and whenever i get a copyright complaint, i just have to download it, remove it, and then say "okay i've resolved it" on a form.
>>
>>55845597
fuck off shill
>>
>>55845602
What seedbox are you using?

I don't have all the bother of copyright claims and shit like that. My country is pretty lax in that sense unlike germany and shit. The problem is that legal ways offer too little titles etc. and do not correspond with my demand, I watch plenty of obscure shows and movies. Even netflix here is shit, any show with a tv broadcast license is not allowed on netflix so plenty of older shows are not even on there.
>>
>>55845628
not him, but serious question - is there any way a person can talk about something they paid for and enjoyed without you personally thinking that they're shills and telling them to fuck off?
>>
>>55845636

if it's genuine and justifiable, you realize kat went down in the week netflix posted their results and their stock crumbled right

not that it's hollywood and maybe even microsoft behind
>>
>>55845636
No because it is different for everyone else and if you want to talk about how nice your paid subscription is then make a thread about it instead of going to the wasp nest of piracy and trying to say it there. You can expect people to react that way in a thread like this.
>>
kickass.mx
kickass.cd

they're both up, look on torrentfreak if you want to double check, that's where i got them from

>>55845631
i'm using whatbox, who are good but i suspect you could find a cheaper option (the lowest cost option is $15/month, but i'm paying $28/month for the bandwidth and traffic allotment). i stick with them anyway because their service has been nothing short of stellar, and i value good service very highly (perhaps to a fault).

i honestly don't remember how i heard about them, but i imagine somewhere someone on reddit has made a rundown of various popular seedbox services.
