What are we doing by entering this text, or "selecting all the images with mountains"? I mean, are we contributing to some AI that is going to take over the world? Is it safe to post on /g/ any longer or am I just accelerating our certain doom?

training google's neural nets. every time it offers you a set of images, it has a few that it KNOWS are correct, a few that is KNOWS are wrong, and a few it doesn't know. when you choose the ones it doesn't know you are making it more accurate for the next run and so on.
