You just built a new computer!!
What programs or apps as I like to call them do you install on your new computer after booting it up for the first time?
For the sake of argument you are for all eternity stuck with Windows 10.
>I install gentoo/ a different operating system! :^)
No you fucking don't!
CCleaner to keep my computer clean
Google Chrome for Internet
Notepad++ for notes
Open Office for my office needs
Foobar for my music
Here's a complete post-install guide to Windows

No fuck you, I'll sell that locked piece of shit and buy a Mac or something that lets me install Linux.

install gentoo
>ms office
>adobe suite
>firefox
>avg
>tinywall
>steam
>all my vidya (like 300 fucking gigs, games these days are ridiculously massive)
>mpc
>qbitorrent
and that's about it, even on computers I've had for years

That's against the rules and you damn well know it
I'd probably install firefox, download gentoo, and install that on a spare partition. Dual boot into gentoo, and remove the windows partition. Continue life as normal.
