So NAS to router is wired, and router to PC is wireless? That could be a big reason. WiFi adds a lot of latency.

That's nowhere near enough info though. Your linksys router is gigabit? Is the link between your buffalo and your linksys gigabit? The link between your linksys and time warner also gigabit?

Correct. I mean I get that it could beslower but with 11mpbs upload youd think it wouldnt be SHIt slow. Even if i hooked up my main comp itd still be ass for when im outside and connecting through phone, is there no way around that? Not even a better NAS?

All gigabit everything as far as I know, I really cant tell you for certain though. Id like to troubleshoot under the assumption that yes, all the connection shit is legit.

All I could find on the bottom of the Modem is that its called UBEE and assembled in vietnam

w/ the new firmware, took 4 minutes to transfer 1.5 gigs. ~6.5mbs was the speed.. Even weirder is that it slows down my computer to shit, like moving the mouse is a one second lag when something is transferring. Over wireless. Makes no sense to me
