So i got this 8y old Toshiba Satellite a210-19a with win10 (botnet ftw) and was thinking to use it as an experimenting-learning subject. So what linux distro do you recommend me to install on it?

Try xubuntu or ubuntu mate th we re bit pretty light running xubuntu on my old vaio runs really well

Arch if you're a retard.
Pure Debian if you actually want to use it.
for entry level, Xubuntu or Ubuntu Mate for a workstation feel. If you want a simple interface with a kinda Mac feel, Elementary OS. If you want a more advanced experience, Debian. Wanna play in the big leagues, Arch. If you wanna say fuggit and use Microsoft, download XP Black - updates, will support 3rd party antivirus, Firefox will work with it, as well as you can install the AMD Dual Core Optimizer software from them that is meant to work with your hardware specifically (Athlon X2 in that thing would reap some benefits from it); downside to XP is that you would probably need the drivers manually downloaded for it.
