There is no right answer to this.

If you want to quickly achieve some meaningful, nontrivial task, maybe try python first. Python is easy to learn, code is concise and readable and nine times out of ten, there's going to be a module already written to accomplish the vast majority of the components of your coding project that will make achieving your coding target almost trivial.

If you actually want to learn about computers, how they work and build a strong foundation for learning other languages, then probably start with C or C++. There's a reason a lot of institutions start with C/++. If this is a lark or a whim, then get ready for frustration if you go down this path. Seemingly simple things will be stumbling blocks, but figuring out why you can't do certain things will get you thinking about those basic components of how computers actually work.

It doesn't really matter, OP. Any language will do.

Do you know any people who could help you out with questions and problems you will inevitably have? If so, study a language that those friends can help you with.
